Alternator Repair

Tighten the lock nut (24 mm key) with the help of a 10mm Allen key as per photo.
Install the capacitor which absorbs high frequency electromagnetic interference created by current generation. Without this device, electromagnetic interference would be heard through the loudspeakers of the radio.
Position the voltage regulator.
Tighten the voltage regulator screws.
Alternator is now ready to be installed to the vehicle.
The output measured on idle is almost 14 V and 14.3 V at 2.500 rpm.
We can be sure that the alternator will be trouble free for years to come.
